Joe's
AGE: 24
PLACE OF BIRTH: STAUNTON, VA
OCCUPATION: Deputy Sheriff for Augusta County
INSTRUMENT (S): Drums, Vocals, Trumpet (don’t ask how…you’ll see)
GREATEST INFLUENCE: My dad- he gave me every thing that I know.
I taught myself how to play drums when I was 20. Back then was
Playing trumpet full-time for my dad’s band flashback, and next thing I know, I’m playing drums…. Quite strange how life will lead you if you only listen.
Willie mccarty and I started jamming in my dad’s studio (warehouse) and practicing with Dave matthew’s and agents of good roots CDs… that’s when ed came in. With enough coaxing Ed finally decided to come by and jam with us on bass. Then came chad… we had another friend of ours (LANCE) “singing” until one night, when we were having a party in the studio (girls galore) and chad just grabbed the mic… and that’s when we just knew.
One practice lead to another… and then came the name. Ed decided one night that we were severe procrastinators when it came to practicing. I.e. “do you guys want to play this weekend?” response…”not tonight, maybe tomorrow.”
Willie slowly faded, and headed down to norfolk to live. We still played, but what a pain in the ass it was to wonder if our guitar player was going to show up on time for our gigs. The bands next guitar player was hip. Hip’s only drawback was his other band in manasses… they were good and all, but we had other plans for our band. This is where we are now. Thank god that the band “gypsy” pissed off our now and forever guitar player “Brent”. Brent came to us offering strong lead and matching vocals with chad and I and with him, he also brought one of the best and youngest guitarists that I have ever seen…nick. Not only is he our guitar player… but he is also our biggest playa’ too.

Chad's
a.k.a.>CAPTAIN WAMMY (don’t ask)
v DATE OF BIRTH: June 11, 1974
v PLACE OF BIRTH: STAUNTON, VA
My thing to do in M.T. is sing, play guitar, and try not to piss anybody off in the process. I’ve been playing guitar since the ripe age of 13. (I started out playing piano, but found out that I can get more chicks up in frontJ) I’ve had many jobs in the past couple of years, including a cop, restaurant manager, and currently an electronic engineer.
I would have to say that some of my greater musical influences have been METALLICA/ MATCHBOX 20/ & CREED.
My favorite quote/ cheesy pick-up line is: “You could do much better than that guy… you could do meJ. I would give you more detail about myself… but you’ll just have to come check me out… peace

Ed's
a.k.a>SMOKEY
DATE OF BIRTH: JANUARY 31, 1970 (old man of the group)
BORN: Staunton, VA
I started playing BASS for M.T. from the get-go. It wasn’t my fault… it just happened. Currently I’m playing a washburn bohtam through a sweet hartke stack… it wasn’t my fault… it just happened. I would have to say that my greatest influences (besides dru… nevermind) musically have been the old-school 80’s rock-groups i.e.- kiss, motley cue, metallica, and antrax. I started playing bass when I was 17 (self taught-still learning) My original instrument was drums, so joe and I really mesh well.
I would have to say that my choose time for practicing would have to be: late @ night with the radio, a 6-pack & “the purple-people eater” (some things are best left unknownJ)
My favorite quote came from MICK MARS of MOTLEY CRUE: “I SEE THAT YOU LIVE DOWN BY THE BEACH… SO WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE KIND OF FISH?”
“THE ELUSIVE FISH IN THE PANTYHOSE… WHICH NOONE CAN SEEM TO FIND.”J
The rest of my story is left untold for a reason… I can’t remember it!! -àpeas
